Insta360 Titan

This page describes the original Insta360 Titan mobile mapping resources for Orbit import.

Use the corresponding Orbit Import Template to import the described original data.
It is recommend to read first Orbit Mapping Resource.

• Image type : Equirectangular panoramas.
• Image resolution : Ratio 2×1.
• Image orientation : Center pixel is orientation reference.
• File format : One *.jpg file for each image containing exif headers.
• Folder structure : All files in one folder.

The original folder is scanned for .jpg files and reads the position and orientation of each photo. The used EXIF information tags are:

• X : TAG_LONGITUDE, TAG_LONGITUDE_REF
• Y : TAG_LATITUDE, TAG_LATITUDE_REF
• Z : TAG_ALTITUDE, TAG_ALTITUDE_REF
• Orientation : TAG_IMG_DIRECTION or TAG_TRACK.

The results are saved in a positions.ovf and positions.csv in the original folder. This csv file is automatically imported as a photo positions file during the import procedure.
