Access Orbit 3DM Viewer

This page describes how to access the Orbit 3DM Viewer for Orbit 3DM Publisher or Orbit 3DM Cloud.

From Orbit 3DM Publisher

Specfic Publication

Access to a single, specific publication is available for both Login and Guest User

<Orbit 3DM Publisher Service>/publication/<Publication Name>?x=<value>&y=<value>&crs=<value>&pan=<value>&tilt=<value>

Publications Portal

Access to the Publications Portal is available for a Login User only.
This portal lists all Publications shared with the Login. Publications that do not require a Login are not listed.

From 3DM Cloud

Via 3DM Cloud Website:

  • Viewer → 3DM Viewer For 3DM Cloud is opened. At first start-up, the Viewer Catalog will be visualized.
  • Console → Make a new publication and edit it in viewer → 3DM Viewer For 3DM Cloud is opened.
  • Console → Launch existing publication → Publication is opened.

Publication URL query arguments

The following arguments can be added to the publication URL. This applies to the 3DM Publisher and 3DM Cloud.

Geocoding

  • Open the publication on a specific location and with a specific orientation by adding the X, Y - value, CRS, heading (or pan) and tilt to the publication URL.
  • Example: https://3dmapping.cloud/publication/<publication name>?x=<value>&y=<value>&crs=<value>&heading=<value>&tilt=<value>

Download Snapshot

  • Trigger the direct download of a view by adding the view number to the publication URL.
  • Example: https://3dmapping.cloud/publication/<publication name>?snapshot=true&view=<value>
  • The view value is the number of the view. Use 'reference' to download the snapshot of the reference view.

PhotoID

  • Clear the opened views and add image view(s) with the photoID in the Publication URL.
  • Example: https://3dmapping.cloud/publication/<publication name>?resource=<value>&photoID=<value1>,<value2>
  • The resource value is the name of the visible resource of which the image is opened. When this parameter is not defined, the first resource that has a match with the given photoID will be opend.
  • The photoID value is the photoID of the image(s) to be opened.
