Orbit Vector Symbol
An Orbit Vector Symbol is a plain text file describing a symbol using a fixed grid reference.
Vector Symbol files can be used in Orbit Symbol Libraries.
Structure
The text file contains description of the symbol, metadata ( author, creation date, version), color description and the line parameters.
Reasons to use
- create and use personalized symbols and symbol libraries to customize the display of data
Create
On OVS file can be created by first compiling the descriptive plain text file and second by renaming this txt file to .osl
