Troubleshooting for Orbit Flash Web Viewer
The page describes the possible errors when trying to open a publication using the Flash WebClient, and the likely causes :
Blank browser page
This message error can be caused by:
- Flash not installed, outdated or not enabled, see: Requirements for Orbit 3D Mapping Viewer and Plugins
- Cannot connect to the server due to a network security restriction (a firewall for example), see: Requirements for Orbit Server
Failed to reach the server
This message error can be caused by:
- No CRS is chosen for the publication, see: EOS Console > Publishers #Main
- An additional resource is no longer available (for example a vector datset was deleted or moved and the path to the new location was not updated). See: EOS Console > Datasets
Image not available
This message error can be caused by:
- The server cannot access the mobile mapping data, see: EOS Console > Extensions #Runs
- There is no image file for the coordinate set as a “Startup Coordinate”, see: EOS Console > Publishers #Preferences
Login failed due to publisher licence failure
This message error can be caused by:
- The Publisher licence is not valid, see: EOS Console >Licence
Provided credentials are invalid
This message error can be caused by:
- The entered credentials are wrong
- A login was preset for an user that doesn't exist, see: EOS Console > Publishers #Login
The Publication was not found
This message error can be caused by:
- No Project is selected, practically no mobile mapping data is linked to this publication. See: EOS Console > Publishers #MM Data
- The user has no permission to access the project (the MM data). See: EOS Console > Extensions #Permissions
