Prepare Viametris IMMS Resources
This page describes the Viametris indoor mobile mapping resources for Orbit.
Using the according Orbit import templates prepared IMMS resources can be imported into Orbit.
It is strongly recommend to read first Concepts of Mobile Mapping and UAS data in Orbit.
Panoramas
Image files
- Image type : Ladybug 5 or Ladybug3, equirectangular panoramas
- Image resolution : Ratio 2×1, advised 8000×4000 (Ladybug 5), 5400×2700 (Ladybug 3)
- Files : One *.jpg file for each image.
- File name : Image_[xxxxxx].jpg
- Folder structure : all files in one folder
Image positions and orientations file
- File format : one asccii *.trj file
- File structure Rows : One record for each image.
- File structure Columns : comma separated (char44), no headers, with exact order as the example below (timestamp, Long/X, Lat/Y, Z, heading, var1, var2, var3, var4)
- Value of Coordinates : any supported coordinate system can be used, Long/Lat order for geographical coordinates, decimal notation, without thousands separator.

Point cloud files
- File format: One or more *.las or *.laz files.
- File structure: Las version 1.2.
- Value of Latitude, Longitude, Elevation: Local projected coordinate system
- Value of Timestamp : Same reference as Photopositions.
