Import Data

Import and organize data

Mobile Mapping Runs & Projects

To publish mobile mapping resources, data must be imported as Runs and organized in Projects.
Use the Orbit desktop client on server to do so.

Orbit Client > Procedures > Administration > Mobile Mapping

  1. Import and process your data into mobile mapping runs using the “Import Run” procedure.

    It is strongly advised to process your imagery for optimized server and client performance.

  2. Organize Runs into Projects.

Oblique Projects

To publish oblique resources, data must imported as Oblique Projects. Use the Orbit desktop client on server to do so.

Orbit Client > Procedures > Administration > Obliques

  1. Import and process your data into oblique projects using the “Import Project” procedure.

  2. It is strongly advised to process your imagery for better server and viewer performance.

Permissions

Review project availability and grant permissions
Check for each project if the newly added mobile mapping runs are available for the Publisher and grant the reauired permissions on the mobile mapping projects.

EOS Console > Extensions > Mobile Mapping / Oblique

  1. Check server availability of runs and projects
  2. Grant permissions on projects

Publication

Create and configure a publication
Create and configure the publication including mobile mapping resources, basemaps, vector overlays, login, search plugins, start-up parameters.

EOS Console > Publishers > Mobile Mapping / Oblique

Publish

Publish and check online
Publish your publication and check it online or within your local network.

Default publication url : http://<server name / ip>:1111/publications/<publication name>/index.html
