Mobile Mapping Consolidation

?nolink

The mobile mapping “Consolidation” extension applies all corrections as defined via the “Trajectory Adjustment” extension and 3D point cloud cleaning tools. A single source run will be consolidated in a new 'cleaned' target run.

Main Toolbar > Extensions > Consolidation

Concepts

Consolidation
Once all segments of an entire run have been performed using the Mobile Mapping Trajectory extension the adjusted run can be consolidated using the Consolidation extension.

Sidebar : Consolidation

Source Run
Open the source run in which the adjustments have been performed.

Target Run
Choose the target run or “new” run you wish to deploy the adjustments to. There are 2 possibilities:

  • Open an already existing run to overwrite the adjustments in.
  • Fill in the name of the “new” run in the box and choose the file location.

Options
Flag the options for consolidation before processing:

  • Replace target Run
  • Archive original Run to archive the original run inside the Mobile Mapping Catalog extension.
  • Remove original Run. This is not advisable.
  • Move images to cut and paste the images from the original run to the target run.

Process
Uncheck the “Direct processing” flag to add this job to the “Task Manager” to perform this action later, e.g. over night.
Press Consolidate to start processing.
