Understanding UAS Mapping in Orbit

UAS Mapping is made for processing vertical imagery. The basic requirements to use UAS Mapping succesfully are:

  • Imagery : The view direction of all images must be oriented approximately vertically down.
  • Camera : The camera must be calibrated before the flight.

Imagery form any kind of RPAS (or UAS) can be used.

Use dedicated hardware e.g. i7, 16-32 GB ram, SSD HD, multithreading (8, 16, or more)
