Procedure POINT

Measurement of a single position.

  1. select_roam
    Measurements using Triangulations need at least two Panoramas viewing the same object.
    Once the measurement is started, no new Panoramas can be added without ending the measurement.
  2. Open the Measure procedure : Panorama Tab > Measure Button
    1. Choose Object type Point and deactivate “use point cloud” (only visible when using point cloud data)
    2. Click “Start” button to begin the measurement
    3. Click on a position in a panorama view window
    4. Click exactly the same position in an other panorama view window.
      Do not close or change the first Panorama view window.
    5. It is possible to adjust one of the measurements with a new click in the used Panorama view window.
      The result will be automatically recalculated.
    6. End measurement with the “Stop” button from the procedure window.

Procedure DISTANCE

Measurement of a straight line between 2 points.

  1. select_roam
    Measurements using Triangulations need at least to Panoramas viewing the same object.
    Once the measurement will be started no new Panoramas can be added without ending the measurement.
  2. Open the Measure procedure : Panorama Tab > Measure Button
    1. Choose Object type Distance and deactivate “use point cloud” (only visible when using point cloud data)
    2. Click “Start” button to begin the measurement
    3. Click 2 positions within the same panorama view window
      After a first click a first point indication and a connecting line will guide you to click a second point.
    4. Click exactly the same positions in the same order in an other panorama view window.
      Do not close or change the first Panorama view window.
    5. End measurement with the “Stop” button from the procedure window.

Procedure POLYLINE

Measurement of a poly line, between 2 or more points.

  1. select_roam
    Measurements using Triangulations need at least to Panoramas viewing the same object.
    Once the measurement will be started no new Panoramas can be added without ending the measurement.
  2. Open the Measure procedure : Panorama Tab > Measure Button
    1. Choose Object type Line and deactivate “use point cloud” (only visible when using point cloud data)
    2. Click the “Start” button to begin the measurement.
    3. Measure as a Distance, but keep repeating to click more points.
      Click 2 or more positions within the same panorama view window
      After clicking the first point a connecting line will guide you to click the following points.
    4. Click exactly the same positions in the same order in an other panorama view window.
      Do not close or change the first Panorama view window.
    5. It is possible to add points to the measurement but be attentive for the same measure order in both Panoramas.
    6. End measurement with the “Stop” button from the procedure window.

Procedure AREA

Measurement of an area, defined by 3 or more points.

  1. select_roam
    Measurements using Triangulations need at least to Panoramas viewing the same object.
    Once the measurement will be started no new Panoramas can be added without ending the measurement.
  2. Open the Measure procedure : Panorama Tab > Measure Button
    1. Choose Object type Area and deactivate “use point cloud” (only visible when using point cloud data)
    2. Click the “Start” button to begin the measurement
    3. Measure as a Line.
      Click 3 or more positions within the same panorama view window.
      After clicking the first point a connecting line will guide you to click the following points.
      It is not necessary to close the polygon. Orbit will automatically connect start and end point.
    4. Click exactly the same positions in the same order in an other panorama view window.
      Do not close or change the first Panorama view window.
    5. It is possible to add points to the measurement but be attentive for the same measure order in both Panoramas.
    6. End measurement with the “Stop” button from the procedure window.
